The fate of the visa centers in Russia is disclosed


The Association of tour operators of Russia (ATOR) has explained what expects the Russian visa centers if the amendments proposed by senators are made to the federal bill. As it is specified in the message, on July 14 two bills — "About introduction of amendments to the Federal law "About an Order of Departure from the Russian Federation and Entry into the Russian Federation" (regarding definition of requirements to the visa service centers)" and "About introduction of amendments to the Russian Federation Code of Administrative Offences (regarding establishment of administrative responsibility for implementation of activity of the visa centers without accreditation)" have been introduced to the State Duma at once. According to the text of the second, the visa centers which won't be able to undergo accreditation will be fined 350 thousand rubles. In addition in ATOR have said that the visa centers in Russia won't be closed. "In spite of the fact that BLS — the only company which ideally corresponds to not approved criteria other companies, if necessary, will be able to pass a re-registration according to new requirements and to continue work in Russia. It is also technically simple to re-register the branches" — it is explained in the message. Lawyers have also noted that requirements to the visa centers which have been offered by senators don't contain in the text of the bill, and are stated in the document which has only informative character. "Most likely the real draft of the government resolution will undergo changes in comparison with the offered option — including after consultations with tourist industry" — have specified in ATOR.
