Russia and CIS overtook Europe on death rate from improper feeding


Scientists from the university of Friedrich Schiller in Yen, Germany, made the rating of the European countries on diseases mortality rate caused by improper feeding. The research is based on data from 1990 to 2016, Daily Mail reports. The highest death rate because of harmful eating habits is recorded in the CIS countries. The republics which were earlier a part of the USSR took the first eleven places of rating. Uzbekistan became the leader in number of death. In this country 394 persons on 100 thousand of the population became the victims of bad food. On the second and third place Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan are located. They are followed by Ukraine, Moldova, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Tajikistan and Kazakhstan. Russia closes ten with an indicator 291 deaths on 100 thousand people. Residents of Spain, Israel and France adhere to the healthiest nutrition. In these countries from 43 to 46 people on 100 thousand died of unhealthy eating habits. By estimates of scientists, in 2016 improper feeding became the reason about a half of death in Europe. More than two million inhabitants of the region became victims of the diseases caused by the high content of salt in food and low consumption of vegetables, nuts and wholegrain products. Also researchers found out that men are stronger subject to risk of development of cardiovascular diseases from unhealthy food. Women appear in risk group after 50 years whereas food has negative impact on men and at earlier age. Earlier the research of World Health Organization showed that insufficient consumption of cellulose increases risk of early death. Scientists found out that the diet with the high content of this microcell allows to reduce the probability of premature death by a third. Also consumption of cellulose reduces risk of development of a heart attack, stroke, type 2 diabetes and cancer of intestines on a quarter.
